KRS55 KARO Wavestation for KORG KRONOS & NAUTILUS ©

In the early 1990s, KORG presented a vector synthesis synthesizer, called the Wavestation. The Wavestation’s sound generation has been based on wave sequencing, a method in which several PCM samples are played successively resulting in continuously evolving sounds.

Unlike any other synthesizer prior to its release, the Wavestation was capable of generating complex, lush timbres and rhythmic sequences that sounded like a complete soundtrack by pressing only one key.

In 1995, the Keyboard magazine listed it as one of the "20 Instruments that Shook the World." KARO are presenting a new library, the KARO Wavestation library.
